All about Australian Women
Melbourne’s largest women’s expo, Girls Only (GO) Festival, is almost here and there are plenty of reasons to get excited. The GO festival is a celebration of women of all ages. It’s an opportunity to relax and explore what’s new whilst enjoying a day off.
Earlier in the year, KerryAnn Bartle braved the Melbourne heatwave to cover the same event and it was all worth it. Read all about it here.
This time, it’s even bigger and better. There’s a hive of activity to indulge your five senses. And we’ve created a little itinerary just for you.
First, sit back and enjoy the entertainment on the main stage which includes a fashion parade for real women, live performances and a line up of interesting speakers and presentations.
Head off to one of the free cooking classes running throughout the festival and pick up some handy tips.
Then saunter on and check out new products – jewellery, cosmetics, perfume, footwear, more food! – for LOTS of free samples from various exhibitors.
Still feeling energetic? Trial a fitness class on the health & wellness stage. Otherwise, attend a free workshop or discovery.
Finally, when you’ve had your dose of fashion, food, product samples, workshops and exercise tips, unwind in the massage and wellness zone for a free massage! That’s right. It’s free.
This event should be on every Melburnian gal’s calendar. So grab your girlfriends and head to GO Festival, 12-13 October, Melbourne Showgrounds.
